My name is Jermil Sadler. I started this blog in January of 2007 for no particular reason. I know I wanted the JermilSadler.com domain name before I became rich or famous and someone beat me to it and made it a porn site.

I also wanted to give myself some way to keep tabs on what I’ve been doing with my life. I find it interesting to look back on the things that I wrote around the time I started this that I may have forgotten about.

I grew up in Michigan then moved to Virginia and worked there for 3 years. It was during my time in Virginia, around 2006, that I found and started to develop a love for photography.

I got bored with the work I was doing in Virginia and moved to South Korea to teach English for a year. There, I got to experience a culture completely different from almost everything I knew. I also took that time to do more traveling in a year than I thought I’d do in my life and massively improve my photography skills.
