I wasn’t a huge fan of T.G.I. Friday’s (english | korean) back home. But it quickly became one of my favorite restaurants since I’ve been in South Korea. It was one of the first places in Daejeon that I found where I could get a spectacular bacon cheeseburger.
I’ve since found other places to get burgers (like Kraze Burgers) but I still go to T.G.I. Fridays because … I’m not sure why. But I still go.
Below are pictures of their Fried Mac and Cheese which apparently isn’t available back home.
Hey! Here’s some Chinese food that I had in South Korea. It’s not as disgusting as it looks!
The first one is noodles in some odd black sauce with vegetables in it. The second stuff is deep fried pork with even more vegetables on it. It was a nice change of pace from the spicy pork which I LOVE.
Most pizza in South Korea is completely different from pizza back home. They put corn and sweet potatoes and regular potatoes on it. I always want to ask, “WHY?!?!?!? Why would you ever ruin a pizza like that???”
But I found out about Papa John’s in Korea. It tastes JUST LIKE THE PAPA JOHN’S BACK HOME (I think). It’s really good and after a wild Friday or Saturday night, I love getting a huge greasy Papa John’s pizza the next afternoon.
They also have the wacky korean style pizza if that’s your thing. Not my preference though.
That is all. See the pictures below please and click them to make them bigger.
