The Detroit area has been having a string of sunny and slightly warm days lately. Because of this, I’ve been going outside everyday and finding something to do.

Friday, I went to Belle Isle with my mom. It was such a beautiful day and I got some great pictures, including some of the Belle Isle Ice Tree.

probably my favorite place to go in detroit… especially in the winter. it’s so peaceful in the winter!

All of the pictures are great..the one of your mom on the swing made me smile. That’s something my mom would do too.

:-) Thanks for the praise! I appreciate Belle Isle way more now that I’m older than when I was a kid. I do miss the Giant Slide though.
