The first Obama rally that I attended was his last for this year’s election. His last stop was in Manassas, Virginia which is where I lived when I first moved out to Virginia. I’m about 30 miles from there now but it’s not far enough to keep me from seeing Obama’s last campaign rally.

I almost didn’t know he was going to be there. One of my good friends told me about it the day before. No one else I asked even knew he was going to be in the area.

It was a really interesting atmosphere to be in. A crowd of people who feel very strongly in the same way that you do. It’s amazing to feel that energy.
