She can just hear it in my voice that I'm somewhere she wouldn't approve, doing something she wouldn't approve, or trying not to spill the beans. When you're a kid your parents are responsible for you (usually) so your actions reflect on them. As adults though...it's your responsibility and reflects more on you and your decisions. So if my car gets towed because of a parade and I spill the beans I DON'T want to hear a dang-on thing... I can handle it! (True story) But what kind of trouble would you get into as a kid/teenager that you'll need money besides tickets? :lol:

My Mom ALWAYS finds about about things, big or small. She can just hear it in my voice that I’m somewhere she wouldn’t approve, doing something she wouldn’t approve, or trying not to spill the beans.

When you’re a kid your parents are responsible for you (usually) so your actions reflect on them. As adults though…it’s your responsibility and reflects more on you and your decisions. Money allows us to hide a lot. My mom still hasn't found out about my MIP freshman year because I paid the fines myself. So I was saved from the lecture of drinking underage, even though the bottles were unopened, and I was completely sober. :shock: But needless to say, I think money helps kids to take the easy way out instead of actually learning from their mistakes the right way.
