If you don’t want to read the article, I’ll sum it up for you.
It said that it’ll be genetically engineered to be able to take 5 times as much pesticide. So that means the sugar beets and the soil where it’s planted will have way more POISON in it. They already do that with corn and soy. The only way to dodge that is to buy organic.
This overly-poisoned sugar will be on shelves this year. Think of the children!
