My cat used to eat my plants. I had to put them up on a stand that I bought from IKEA.

Plant stand from IKEA

I bought new pots from Home Depot and filled them up with dirt before I put new plants in them. I found out that my cat was relieving herself in them. That was sad and I thought I had to get rid of the dirt and the pot. But since I’m lazy most of the time, I decided to put the pot on my balcony.

When I repotted my aloe plant last week, I decided to drop a few seeds into the pot with the cat urine and see if anything happens.

I checked on it yesterday and saw that the seeds were actually sprouting in the cat urine pot.

Therefore, I think cat piss is better for your plants than anything else!

I would like to point out that your conclusion is illogical. To say that cat piss is better for plants than anyting, implies that you tried pretty much everything to get your plants to grow and cat pee worked the best. I think a better conclusion might be that one should not dismiss a pot full of dirt and cat pee as inhospitable to plant growth, seeing as how you have empirical evidence that suggests the contrary ;-)

I also have empirical evidence that I’m gonna start deleting comments!

Remember when you called me an imperialist (instead of empiricalist which isn’t a word) because I like to experiment with stuff to come to conclusions? Remember that silly???

I’m surprised your cat hasn’t tried to climb up there and eat those plants! That would probably create a fun mess for you to clean up :P

Maybe I need some cat piss for my bamboo plant…

Maybe I can go into the cat-piss-selling racket and get out of this silly day job.

LOL…nice retort. Does that render my reasoning flawed??? I think not :-P

I would like to point out that your argument contains a very common fallacy known as an ad hominem (please see referenced link below). This fallacy occurs when an individual refuting an argument attacks the person making said argument, rather than attacking the argument itself.

Don’t worry…I still love you ;-)

Technically it’s not ad hominem. I never said you were wrong and according to the two definitions on the site to which you linked, that is a necessary ingredient for your stated fallacy.

I stated that maybe I should delete comments that I don’t like. And your response reminded me of a time when you misused a word that you correctly used this time.

Good day to you madame.
