Sarah: I could tell when old Vic was trying to pull something because for the normal stuff, he'd look right at me and tell me. For the made-up things he'd be looking at the computer screen or looking down at some papers or something. It was like he didn't remember what he made up or he just couldn't look me in the eyes. That's the one benefit of dealing with the same person each time.

Mark: I wish I had talked to you before about that. I had it done before I posted this. But for what I needed done, he would've had to take out the engine and those such things. I wouldn't have let some rando off craigslist take my engine out of my car just to say, "Hmmm... now where does this thing go???"

Dude,

Order the part off of the internet. You will save a ton of money. Go to craiglist, find a guy that does mechanical work on the side. He will install it for like $40 an hour. I was once told my bill would be $1300 at the dealer. Did the craigslist thing and got it all done for $350 and it is perfect. I can give you a name if needed.

lol...I just experienced a similar problem. Told I needed new parts that someone else should last me for another 100,000 miles. And then another part this one place wanted to charge me $500 more than the guy I went to. Luckily I know when I'm being hustled, or at least I think I do lol.

I bet they would've all been laughing and clinking their champagne glasses together the entire time while they were putting a new water pump in the place of a perfectly fine water pump.
