There’s a Kite Festival this Saturday at the National Mall in DC.
I went one of these years that I’ve been out here and it’s kinda amazing. Kites were everywhere! And I didn’t see anyone get there’s tangled up. I took pictures but just spent 30 minutes looking for them but couldn’t find any. I ended up going through a ton of my old pictures and found old ones from college. I found pictures that I took when I worked at a lab where I did face detection experiments using 3D cameras with lasers on them. I saw how I used to be skinny my last year or so in college then I plumped up when I first moved to DC. And I used to think I was sexy. Nobody told me otherwise though. It’s all mostly about what’s on the inside. I think I’m getting off track though.
Back to the Kite Festival. I guess that’s all I have to say about that. Oh wait!
They have a kite competition too. I don’t know how they win though. It’s probably all on their website .
Hope to see you there. I’ll be the guy acting like it’s not 55 degrees out there with the digicam and the 35mm camera taking pictures with people’s dogs while yelling at the kids to make their kite go higher!!!
