I have a new pet. It’s a frog. He will be called Ferdinand. I don’t know if it’s male or female so it is male.
I saw him by the outside door as I was going into my apartment building. I thought it was the coolest thing that I’ve ever seen around this place. Except the bats that used to fly into my bedroom through my window.
I got the bucket that I used to scoop the water out of my kiddie pool and scooped up little Ferdinand.
He wasn’t too keen on being captured and kept trying to hop out of the bucket. I put something over the top of it while I went to Target to get a fish tank or something.
They didn’t have any fish tanks so I got a big plastic bin that you would use to store your crap. I had some little rocks and dumped those in there. Then I put the bin in the tub and put water in it.
He seems a lot happier now if happiness is sitting around looking scared all day and all night.
I went by the pet store today to get some frog food for him. I think I have to feed him live crickets.
They had little plastic bowls with 36 crickets in them. I picked it up and at least half of them were dead. The other half were just creepy looking. I decided I’d come home and look on the internet to see what I should get to feed him before I allow live crickets into my home. I’ll go back out tonight and get him whatever I have to feed him.
Too bad I’m going out of town for the weekend and he’ll probably die from starvation before I get back. Ah well. It’s the circle of life.
Pictures come soon.

I don’t think him looking scared equals happiness. Could be wrong but that’s my guess.
True, but it doesn’t have to mean he’s unhappy.
[...] Here are the pictures of my favorite frog Ferdinand. Stop emailing me about them!!! Anybody want to feed him crickets? [...]
Indeed Matt. He was very happy. I’ve never seen a happier frog. And I doubt Sarah has either.
