When “The Game” Goes Bad

I’ve noticed a problem with a new set of people that I’ve been hanging out with lately.

Let’s say we’re out at a club. If one person out of the group starts talking to a girl, another guy out of the group feels like he can try to steal her from you before you even get in good.

I first noticed it when it happened to one of the other guys in the group. I thought it was odd because I usually hang with better wingmen than that and hadn’t seen that among friends. But I figured it was something that they do.

I figured since they knew each other pretty well, it was a part of their game and they were all okay with it. But I started seeing sideways glances at the one guy that was doing it the most.

To me, that’s counterproductive and detrimental to the game and to friendships. Once I realized what was happening, I decided to handle my business away from the group.

What made it even worse was that the only thing the main girl-stealer was successful with was scaring girls away.

Sad.

so I’m guessing you were the “main girl-stealer” since I know you’re good at scaring people (all you have to do is smile)

Nah I don’t steal girls from my boys. But I may steal them from their worthless boyfriends.

And there’s no way Sam would go to a place where plenty of hot ladies reside.

How do you know their boyfriends are worthless?
