I went to get some of that expensive petrol today.
How come when I was at the pump, I found a friggin CREDIT CARD on the ground.
For those of us that pay for gas with plastic, you know that all you have to do is jam it in that machine and yank it out and you’re good! OoOoOoOoOoHHH so tempting!!!
Instead, I used my own card. While my gas was pumping, I walked into the gas station and handed the card over to the guy behind the cash register.
I felt so good about myself for doing the really really right thing.
Then the pump clicked. I looked at the total…
Ouch.
But I’m still a role model for our youth.

i do have to give you credit for that, considering how much it is these days…i would have been tempted myself
Now how do you know that the attendant didn’t turn around and charge it up
I wouldn’t be surprised if he did. But I wasn’t going to go beyond turning it in where I found it. I figured the person could realize they lost it and remember that the last place they used it was the gas station and come back asking for it.
